Shangri-la Hotel Vancouver I decided to check in to the relatively new Shangri-la Hotel in Downtown Vancouver, the cities newest Five Star Hotel, just to see what it was like! The room rates are lower still before the Summer rush, and you are given $100 to spend in their restaurants or at the mini bar (which goes by fast!). I am impressed with the finishings, the comfort o the beds, the luxurious bathrooms, and the attentive service (even if their uniforms are kind of distractingly ugly). It definitely lives up to its reputation, and the brand name of Shangri-la! Redeemer's Feast from The Westin Europa & Regina The most loved and honured day in Venice, the Redeemer's Feast. An hour long fire works and celbrations, involving the whole city and tourists from all over the world.
